Songwriters Isabel Castellvi & Isa Bowser

Om Sanctuary, 87 Richmond Hill Drive, Asheville

Isa Bowser & Isabel Castellvi Sliding Scale:$5-$25

Join OM Sanctuary for an intimate Sanctuary Concert Series. Music to uplift the spirit and warm the soul will be presented Thursday evenings, from 7:00-8:30pm, on the Sanctuary Pavilion stage located in the Multipurpose room.

Singer-songwriter Isabel Castellvi will feature a collection of songs from various periods of her writing over the past decade. She will be playing guitar, mandolin, and looping the cello. She will be joined by Anna Slate on harmonies.

Snakes and Bones is a musical project by Isa Bowser. She grows the songs till they walk off on their own two legs, forming themselves into what they need to be. Then she tries her very best to sing those songs for you. She may sing them raw or with instrumentation. The songs are stories. With winding melodies and a lilting quality of conversational poetics, they give insight into grand myth and deep subjectivity.
